This is a table I made from a free plan. This was my first major wood project since getting a few good wood tools together. This table is VERY heavy. The cuts are all at 21.5 degrees, but of course there were a few that I had to shave a little bit off even though I never moved the chop saw settings. I think on a few of them I didn’t account for the 8th of an inch the blade was taking away, and with 112 cuts, a few cuts off amounts to an exponential mistake. It wasn’t too bad though.

Nice change from the standard picnic table. As for the little errors you encountered, odds are that the 21.5 degree setting on your chop saw isn’t absolutely bang on and that will cause a bit of a problem.

Yeah MonteCristo I ended up buying a little angle finder from Home Depot, and that helped with the rest of the project. I simply made a mark on a piece of thin hobby grade plywood using the angle finder, and cut out a template for the rest of the cuts. It worked out well. Thanks for the welcomes.
