For her birthday, my mom requested that I build a storage box for our deck. I made this box to go with some planter boxes that my dad built a number of years ago. The inner box is plywood & the outer panels and inner lid are cedar tongue & groove boards. The lid frame is made from some planed down cedar 2×4s, with half-lapped miters on the corners’.

That’s one good looking box I must say. I like the legs, it keeps it up off the deck, high and dry!
