The Boss, in all his young glory!
This work was ordered by a friend of my Mother’s to give as a gift. I love creating works for this purpose!
She was very specific on which image of Bruce she wanted, which made my job fairly easy – at least until it came to created the pattern – doh!
I finished the pattern and it just didn’t have any life to it – at first. The customer then suggested I include the window blind and that was what it took!
Pattern took around two hours total to create – the cutting was done a bit here and there over a couple of weeks.
It was really nice to have another scrollwork to do – I have a BUNCH of projects, but none of them involve much work on the scrollsaw and I missed it. This was a true joy to create and the customer loves the work. Win Win
Piece is cut into Baltic Birch Ply and measures around 12 inches square.
Finish is a coating of lemon oil and a backing of thick felt.
Enjoy!

Very well done. It does however sort of look like the boss is showing us his nipple.

Once again, you nailed it! You have the best ability to pick just the right lines to cut. This is awesome! :)

You’re the boss. Nice cutting, Bob
Nicely placed knot just where the right nipple should be!
