Oh, those are so sweet. I am certain they are among her most treasured posessions. Someday (soon?) I am gong to try a wood hinge – they are something special. What tools did you use to build each?

The hinged one was with bandsaw, drillpress and dremel for engraving.
For other one… Bandsaw, drillpress to help knockout some of the center and a couple carving tools.
I’m just a beginner at carving. Right now I’m working on a ball-n-cage. That’s a lot more time consuming than those hearts!
