This is a very thin pen. I was hoping my gluing skill would pay off and the wood wouldn’t fly off the tube.
Including the glue and finish there is about .04” of material on the outside of the tube.
I cannot figure out what the wood is. It looks good and finished nice. I’m thinking it is maybe buckeye burl.

That’s a beauty!
Can’t imagine making this one. I’d be afraid I’d sand thru into the brass.
