Here is a wall clock i made it is about 6”x14” and 1/4” thick. made from curly walnut and red cumaru. danish oil and wax for the finish

Good job on selecting the wood grain. I need to make my wife a clock…. I like the simple design.
-- I just got done cutting three boards and all four of them were too short. (true story)

thanks, the other clock i posted that is similar to this is actually the same piece of wood, i took a 3/4” board and cut it in half on the table saw to get 2 1/4” pieces. i think its cool how the same piece of wood can give you 2 different grain patterns
