This is a gardener’s bench that I made for my mother. She is well into her eighties and still likes to garden. This bench is designed to sit on or you can flip it over and kneel on it. I got the plan from Wood Magazine. The wood is redwood. Simple glue and screw construction, no joinery other than a dado.

I’m hoping it helps to keep her outside doing what she loves for a few more years. This was a very easy project for me, but special because i know it will used by someone who will appreciate very much. I think the plans were great w/ an elegant and efficient design.
