This is one of those things that i got carried away on. A freinds wife said that there little guy wanted a truck like his grandpa’s. So as many of you know that light goes off in your head and you go home into the shop and go at it. I went home and found a 2×4 then it was just saw dust flying again. 30 two inch wheels and 17 axle pegs a couple of peices of dowels and done. now this truck was suposed to be just a natural finish and then i didn’t find anything that i wanted to use so i decided to paint it (and it does match exactlly to the real one). This took me about two hours to build and about a week of painting (i am not a painter)
I hope everyone likes it..

the Kid’s gotta love it. I know my grandson would. He’s been bugging me to make him stuff ever since I showed him Raymonds stuff. Very very cool gramps.

This is a wonderful project. Despite your claiming not to be a painter this looks pretty good to me.
Thanks for the post.

Nice use of a 2×4…. I also hate to paint. The kid will love it. No one can ever have too many toys.
