Silver Bullet

Finally had the time to get out in the shop and do some woodworking. I came across this style of pen a year ago but never bothered to get a kit and try it out. While it is nice I would consider this a Novelty Pen, not a quality writing instrument as most other kits I make. The lower barrel is hollow and that means if you drop it, or push too hard it bends or gets a nick in the plating. The width is not bad, but it does not fit well in the hand with the lower barrel made as it does to resemble a bullet.

That being said you can have this at work and instead of going for a weapon and doing something dumb, then going to jail etc etc. Just pick this up and DREAM of the possibilities. Hold the “Bullet” in your hand and relax knowing it has the moron next to your cubicles name on it. Now I would NOT advise taking this with you on ANY airplane trip. TSA being what they are I doubt you will get past them without a complete cavity search. Then a background check on you and your dogs third cousin. And finally a note from your Mother explaining it is only a pen, signed in triplicate with an apositle from the CIA, FBI, NSA and the local Children’s Charity.
