If I remember correctly (the nice thing about getting old; if I lose my mind~ I don’t miss it much) anyways; the plans for this came out of an old Woodsmith Magazine way back when it wasn’t a colored edition. I have it hanging on the wall in the shop and thought it a good project for someone starting out. The cork is a 12” X 12” pre cut job. I think they came in a 4 pack at the time.
A good place to hang my keys so i don’t misplace them ~ along with my mind.

Hi David,
This is a nice project and one that a lot of us on board here could probably use. I know that I have a tendency to lay my keys down on my assembly bench amid the myriad of hand tools that are there and oftentimes end up “losing” them in the process.
By the way I love the sign!!!
Thanks for the post.
