This project features the Bullock Murphy bed with a bookcase one side and a corner desk on the other. We were limited with space so everything had to be designed accordingly. It was built in June 2012 using oak wood and a Wilsonart Laminate on the desk top.

Here are some building pictures:

Nice looking bed.
I have this as a future planned project for our guest bedroom.
I’m curious what did you use for the bed hardware? And was there anything special about mounting the hardware to the case that you’ve learned?

Thanks Jagwaw. I get it from Create-a-bed you can get if from them or I keep a lot in stock and and sell you one. $299 either way including shipping.

I’ve made jigs to make it faster, but doing one, the instructions are real good. Not made like a technical drawing, but for the do-it-yourselfer. Email me at chris@wwbeds.com and I’ll send you some info.

Good looking Murphy bed installation. I like the way it`s not obvious that it`s a bed.

Chris great design once again. I like this alot. Still love the one that the sesk folds out of the face but this one has a great look to it as well.
