Made this chair for my daughter when she was nursing my newly born Grandson; he is 20 next. The chair was made from American White Oak and is still in daily use, finished with 1 coat cellulose sander sealer and 3 coats Melamine lacquer. I’ll let the chair say the rest.

Bill, that is a great chair

It is going to last for a long time.

Like to have that on my porch, sitting and drinking a cup of coffee. I haven’t a rocker yet but have plans to do that some day.
Hope all is well with you and family.

There is no better test than the test of time. The rocker looks terrific. No doubt, a very satisfying project.

Great looking rocker. I really like the added touch to the top of the back rails as it connects to the head piece, nice.
