Sometimes we think too far outside the box when the answer is right next to us in the draw.

how did you attached the calipers to the sled?

Wait. The bottom of that caliper extend out?? Dang, do I feel stoopid. I think I have that caliper (granted, I inherited it from my Dad and haven’t ever used it), but never knew that!

Yeah I had been really annoyed with having to use my ruler. I traced where the caliper needed room to slide and routed out the excess. So in attempting to get it to stay exactly in one place I routered as close as possible and used a very small wedge. Sorry for the poor pictures, my good camera was dead, so i had to use my old one.
