This is really good. Her coloring and features are so realistic. I like the drawing labelled “mermaid” :-)

That pair are the most lifelike carvings I have ever seen. She even looks like she’s protecting her baby. Amazing talent you have. Hard to believe that ancient mariners thought these were beautiful mermaids. I think they had been at sea too long!

Thank you all the great comments, and yeah they call them mermaids for being at sea too long and I think too much rum might had something to do with it.
