Finally got sick of using my saw on the ground and made a stand for ol’ reliable yesterday. I’ve really gotten into “recycling” scrapped and pallet wood. Just something about taking something someone sees no value in and creating something practical and valuable to another.
Anyway, the wood for this project was given to me by the local “government” organization I work with. Turned out pretty nice! Much easier on my back and knees, that’s for sure! Thanks for looking! Was fun building!

That’ll work, Good recycling job. Bending down to use a miter saw is not cool!! It is like cutting grass with a handle-less lawn mower. Great use of the wood!!

I’m a big fan of re-purposing wood. I too have brought a pallet or two home. Lucky enough to come across a small white oak one. It was rough of course but after planing it down it was beautiful. Your saw setup before this stand is very familiar to me, but I’m glad you were able to (forgive the pun…) up your game! Excellent project!
