Every jumberjock who peruses woodworking cataloges ( thats every one isn’t it) either on or off line will no doubt recognise this from rockler. some things like thickness of the wood, material etc are changed. ( 3/4 in sides ? come on I’ve got to carry this into the house) I think it might be a lot move attractive divided into 3-4 section on a single base. I have very limited floor space and next to a book case nearly as tall its not quite so overwhelming as it is sitting on a table saw.

It does look kind of extreme sitting there out in the open. <g>

Wow you can use it as a beam and have a hidden CD rack in it.
Thats the good thing about designing your own projects. They fit your needs. If your pleased, than its perfect.
Thanks for sharing your design.

great work but I thought CD’s were obsolete? Funny thing too! I was so excited when I got my Dad’s 8 track player! I was 5! and I Never thought that would end, let alone compact disc.

Nice one, titles like Towering Inferno and Stairway to Heaven come to mind. Any taller and you will need to install and elevator.

IGUESS THE PHOTO IS A LITTLE MISS LEADING. ITS SITTING ON TOP OF THE TABLE SAW AND DOSEN’T GO TO THE RAFTERS. ITS ABOUT 6’2” WHICH MAKES THE UPPER FOOT OR SO AT EYE LEVEL.
