This mission style clock was a beautiful piece of quarter-sawn red oak that was in the bargain bin at The Workbench. I made two matching ones and gave the other one to my Dad. The face buttons are inlaid ebony. This was the first project with my Kreg pocket hole jig. I had to plow a little recess in the back because the stem on the movement was still a bit short.

thanks. Super simple to make. I used a trick I saw in FWW to make the ebony pegs. I cut them square, drilled round holes, then used a cutoff screwdriver to punch the round holes into square holes. The movement is just a $3 quartz AA battery movement. I really liked the minimalist look. Thanks for looking.
