This is the first project I have ever posted on Lumber Jocks. I am going to post more projects soon, which are larger and more involved, but I thought this was a good place to start. Although I did my far share of woodworking back in high school (20+ years ago), until recently I didn’t have a space for the hobby. I made this digital photo frame for my sister-n-law who is expecting her first child. The frame is cherry, sanded to 400 grit with a mineral oil finish. It is constructed so that it can either be placed on a flat surface or hang on a wall. The greatest joy received was when everyone at the baby shower asked, “Where you can buy a frame like this?” “Buy? ... I made it!”
