Very nice sled. I wanna build one.
What kinds of wood did you use and tell us about the bending? Dimensions?

Thanks for all the comments.
John: The wood is all ash. The darker pieces are misleading, since I stained them before I varnished just to get some color variation. If someone can let me know how to do it, I can post the plans I made for it (I used MS Visio). It contains all the dimensions, etc.. The original idea is not my own, I saw a picture of the sled on a website and decided I wanted to try to make it, so I sat down and drew up some plans that would get me close. The plans I put together all came from the picture of the final product I saw.
Dick: Thanks. Yes, she did but I asked for pictures of it in use and haven’t gotten any yet. They were in Sedona AZ (not much snow there) but then moved to Flagstaff.
Thanks again for the feedback. This is a great website!

That’s really cool. Too bad I have no grand kids…I’d love to build one.
