I built this table and six chairs several years ago. It is made from Red Oak that I had cut myself and had an onsite sawmill service come it and board up. I bought the walnut for the chair back. The mission chair plans came from Wood Magazine and then I modified with the curvy walnut. Table is my own design, but was made to reflect the mission style chairs.

That’s beautiful work and the wood looks great too. The walnut backs sets off the chairs.

Magnificant work. Those are ones I could easily look in my dinning room.

Love the table! I’d build a trestle table if my wife would let me, she wants a four poster though. Looks great! Welcome to LJs.

Thanks for all the comments. Some mistakes I made were on the finish. The finish didn’t hold up well after 8 years and 7 kids, need to re due on the table top itself.
