Until a few of weeks ago, I had never used a drill. I know there are hundreds of cutting boards on here, but I thought it would be an easy project. It’s made from Red Oak and Poplar.

It looks great – and I am assuming you did not use the drill much on this project. :-) There may be hundred of cutting boards, but that is because they are a great wood project and each one has its own personality. I like the colors here.

No ma’am. Didn’t use the drill on this particular project. :) I’m just completely inexperienced.

Sometimes a simple start off is a good way to build confidence and a great way to learn the tools and the techniques. Either way it is a really good looking board and something you can be proud of for years to come.
