First of all, sorry about the poor pictures. No good place to take a pic without actually mounting it on the wall.

My best buddy from 8th grade was just given the double barrel shotgun that belonged to his grandfather. I will be strickly a display item and keepsake, so he ask me if I would make a wall mount rack for it. Here is the result. The spec for this piece was “Oh just something simple like you would make for yourself.”

That’s what he is getting. Butternut with clear laquer finish.

You really did a great job on this piece and it makes a fine place to hang that heirloom shotgun. I know that your friend really appreciates it.
