My daughter was planning her wedding, and as customary, wanted to give a gift to all the bridesmaids. So lo and behold, Dad to the rescue. She asked me to make them all personalized “step stools”.
I made these out of oak and personalized them with transparency cutouts from my plotter. I then sealed them with polyurethane. (I’m not worth a damn to try and carve names.) A CNC router would have been the cats meow.
The girls still tell me it is most practical and they use them in their kitchens all the time.
By the way, my daughter is all of 5’ tall. HA!

Nice job and practical. I’m working on a wedding project right now for my step-daughter. She liked the wine bottle balancers I’ve made for other gifts and wants me to make 175 of them to give away to all the guests. Perhaps if I had told her they were hard to make instead of how simple they are…

How nice an idea was that!! Great job on them. It is something they can really use instead of some trinket!!
That is a real neat idea on the lettering, too! I love it!!!!!!!!
