Built this for a friends who’s sons were collecting lots of monster trucks. The whole thing measures roughly 3’x4’. The spine was made with 2-2×8 milled down to 1.25” and edge jointed and glued together then card scraped for smoothness. The shelves are just 1/2” BB plywood (keep cost down). The shelves are all at a 15deg angle and are half lapped along with the spine and slide together. The spine was edged along the front curve with some walnut then given a slight round over. The shelves had walnut front on them to prevent the trucks from rolling off. It’s held on the wall via two french cleats. You can just see the bottom of one of them above the bottom shelf. Once they were both screwed into a stud (1 screw each) the unit sat on it very well and tight.

I need to thank lysdexic for the idea, i originall saw his design and worked off of that.

Nice way to organize the collection, Joey! The trucks are displayed nicely and everything is accessible for easy playtime! Really nice project! :)
