Created this first semester of my Junior year in 2005. I used willow and oak to create this entertainment center. It is fit according to sizes of video games on the right ( like xboxand wii) and uptop for dvds. to the left of the tv is slots for cds which are cut according to the angle of the cd so they can stand upright in the slot.

This is a very nice piece, Steve. When do you have time to play the dvds or spend time on the Wii? You obviously have been busy in the shop.
Thanks for sharing.

made this in high school at a time where video games were being used, but i honestly dont even have games or a system anymore. now the top area is used for a tuner and record player and the right side is used for dvds. by the way those willow boards that frame this box are all one pieces of wood not glued at all, 15 inches wide, i have not had any warping even though i was told recently that everything splits when you have pieces of wood over 4 inches wide. I find it interesting how many of my projects have tested alot of experienced wood workers theories, but have yet to have problems.
