No big story here, just a chunk of burl I got off ebay for 10 bucks. It wasn’t nice enough to slice up into something special so it’s just a shelf. I like French Cleat style to hang things.

This certainly is an interesting looking shelf. It adds a unique touch to the room’s decor.

it’s the french cleat style for hanging cabinets, but I’ve used it to hang a ton of things. Hope this picture helps you see how it’s constructed,

A very unique corner shelf. I think the fooo fooo designers would love it too! What type of burl is it? Do you have additional hardware to anchor the shelf into the cleat? Or does the weight & angle of it keep it solid?
