No big story here, just a chunk of burl I got off ebay for 10 bucks. It wasn’t nice enough to slice up into something special so it’s just a shelf. I like French Cleat style to hang things.

it’s the french cleat style for hanging cabinets, but I’ve used it to hang a ton of things. Hope this picture helps you see how it’s constructed,
