After using a combination of a wine barrel, bricks and a milk crate for my brewery stand (see pic 3), I finally got my act together and made one. Out of wood or course! Nothing too pretty here – just construction grade pine that I machined down to 55×32mm. This size means I can cut mitres on my 10” table saw – there’s a whole bunch of corner struts under the top shelves. Joinery is all lap joints for strength and the top is cement sheeting to deal with the large amount of heat generated by the gas burner on the right. Happy days. Now I don’t have to worry about the possibility of 50 litres of hot water falling on me.
