I made this out of Oak, Walnut, Mahogany and Maple. One of the members of this site (sorry I cannot remember his name) taught me how to make a jig to cut the diamonds. They are all 3/4 inches thick, mounted on a frame that I made out of Walnut with a maple inlay. The back is plywood covered in Walnut veneer. Finished with satin rub on poly.

Glenn -

I like the wall art – nice combination of color and pattern.

Great Glenn! I like the color contrast in your choice of wood.

Glen, Nice job on this project. It is funny that you can’t remember where you got your help. I got my ideas for jigs from your old posts!! These are fun to do.

-- Robert, so much inspiration here, and so little time!
