I made this out of Oak, Walnut, Mahogany and Maple. One of the members of this site (sorry I cannot remember his name) taught me how to make a jig to cut the diamonds. They are all 3/4 inches thick, mounted on a frame that I made out of Walnut with a maple inlay. The back is plywood covered in Walnut veneer. Finished with satin rub on poly.

Glen, Nice job on this project. It is funny that you can’t remember where you got your help. I got my ideas for jigs from your old posts!! These are fun to do.
