First Projects

Project by Bill Akins posted 591 days ago 348 views 0 times favorited 4 comments Add to Favorites Watch

1. My first project, after making a shop, was to make a foot stool. Simple plan but i enjoyed it. The wood was left over pine from an old flat bottom fishing boat I helped my Dad make.

2. Second was a quilt rack for my wife. She had been wanting one for years. Made from pine shelving.

3. Next was a quilt rack for my wifes friend, she likes dolphins.

These are nice projects that I am sure were well received. Great use of recycled materials as well. The carving and dolphins add visual interest to the quilt racks.

Thanks for sharing.

You made a fishing boat out of 2” pine?

Good looking first projects, any way you slice it!
