I am taking this one for review today…going to layer this and mine today. and work on the other four as I have ten day left prior to the big Tournament they are having at the end of the month…Lots of ppl mean lots of customers. We shall see. These are 16×20 plywood.
Any questions and comments are very welcome.

Thank You,
HanK

*NOTE…Well got the green light for the other four…and will layer this one today update in three days.

This is the end result…IT WORKS…just like I said…Clean…the other four will be complete and installed by Saturday the 28th. Pictures pending.

Well, all four are now installed…they were well received…however…Someone wiped Paint Thinner to remove the dry eraser markings…The board is Trash….I feel like crap….no words can even come close.

Looks good, Hank. At first glance, I would have probably went for some thinner or mineral spirits. Never even thought about the dry eraser board. You guys mostly play cricket…. or some 501 or 301? For me, I like the simple games, that way I can hang in there a little longer with the rest of the “pros”. What type finish did you use so you could use the dry eraser?

I used clear gloss epoxy…”Bar top” some call it…the guy works with wood…and knew better….so the customer wants to know what I am going to do about it…I tell her…”Replace it, of course”. I should be done with the new one in a few days…I used basic plywood on three of the five boards that he bought and used beech for the other two to give the room contrast…the art on them stands out more…but she wants them all to look alike…after seeing the lighter beech look…so…ply she shall get.

I don’t think about that “customer thing” the same as most folks. I don’t say “the customer is always right)..... because they’re not. BUT I do say…... ” the customer gets what they want”. In other words, what they “want” may not always be right.

Have your say...
