I was needing to tidy my yard and store all my wood in one place, or at least try to. So I built the wood racks from the wood whisperer. My shed was only 10ft tall so I only got 3 shelves out of it. The third picture shows the plywood rack tucked tight against the wall; the fourth shows it pulled out, so I can easily take out/put in wood. Now that I have some wood organized, I can hardly wait to get working on all those 4×4 cedar posts.

Boy you sure got some big wood up high. The shelves look good and strong. I like the plywood cart. I don’t have room for one right now though.

Looks like a great job. I just watched the video on this today. I don’t have this kinda space even. I’m looking to do something on a much smaller scale.

The lumber racks I built 20 years ago are starting to sag. Like your ideas, maybe it’s time to re-do.

Dnick, in my other post “taper jig” I posted a link on a real good, safe taper jig, if you’re at all interested in making these shelves, great time saver
Have your say...
