I made the covered wagon for Dad one christmas,he loves anything western..also modified the pattern for a horse to fit the ratio to wagon, one was walnut & the other was cherry, only picture I ever took so cant show the horses.sorry..I love to scroll saw as you can tell from the pics..The lighthouse was made from several pictures I found on the net.no plans or drawings.just by eye,I got lucky with putting everything to scale..this is in california, “Pointe Fermin Lighthouse”..The tractor was made out of scraps as most of my stuff is made from..I also made a hay wagon to go with it.the only thing wrong with it was I could never make the hook-ups to tractor correctly..Dad was happy with it anyway..Thats what counted..The tractor fretwork had to be modified because there was too much shadow on the back tire. The Marine Eagle was copied out of a magazine I found ,,I made the very 1st one out of Cherry and gave it to my nephew who is currently serving in the Marine Corps,he has been serving for the past 10-11 years..His commanding officer requested 5 more to given as awards for some of his fellow Marines.they seemed happy with them.I have made several fretworks of the colt scratching its head. For some reason almost everyone ask what it is ?I have tried several times to redraw this and it never works…When I tell them what it is,they say “why of course, why didnt I see that??” so thats all the pictures I have at this time..hope everybody enjoys them !!
