We were asked to modify one of our previous vanity designs to allow 3 drawers to be placed horizontally and have 3 doors underneath . What we ended up with was 2 functioning drawers with the center being a false drawer and 2 shelves placed behind the end doors. The customer is going to finish the piece and install their own sink and faucet in the center. This Variation was constructed entirely of Reclaimed barn wood oak.

Nice looking job. You also do well on your photography. Many of us lack that.

Nice build, it will give a nice feel to a country bath.
Why is it called an Idaho Vanity? I was raised in Idaho, and when I first saw the title my thought was that it came from Idaho timber. I must say I have never seen a barn in Idaho made with oak.
I am not offended by the usage, just curious.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. The vanity was made with wood we reclaimed from a barn in Resaca Georgia, but is being shipped to a customer in Idaho. Thus the name Idaho Vanity, sorry no deep meaning or compelling story behind the name.

Looks nice – I can picture a few places where this would be right at home (none in Idaho!) Do you have to do anything special for case that is to have a sink installed? – I am asking about finishing the wood specifically.
