Greene and Greene coffee table (Birdseye maple and walnut) This piece was custom made for a customer of mine and resides in San Fransisco. I custom built it for his wife for a Christmas present last year. Finished natural with a hand rubbed oil finish.

Effective use of contrasting woods. I love both of them ! The craftsmanship also looks first-rate.

Thanks everyone. This is one of my favorites that I have built. Not only was it a great choice of woods in my opinion my customer got a piece that is one of those conversation pieces which are always fun to have in your home whatever the piece of art/craftsmanship may be. Plus the fun of shipping a piece to a customer you have never met across the country. I make custom crates for pieces like this and wrap it like crazy and hope for the best! Thanks again everyone. Now back to work…
