I am looking forward to making more than fence panels and yard projects.. but this side yard project has been plenty to keep my saw running and my wife happy. plus my two best friends (my dogs)... all cedar fence with a antique porch swing found at a local flea market… More to come soon. I am working on my outside stairs to my second floor lumber loft over my shop..

My wife wanted to keep the view open in front, and it keeps my dogs safe, plus its a corner on the way to a grade school. I wanted drivers to be able to see any short little people who ride bikes and skate boards to that intersection.

Looks great and definitely put some thought into the design.

I’m soon going to be replacing a 6 ft privacy fence on our patio and looking at using cedar as well. What finish did you use or leave it plain?
