Neat little project. I have a plan in an old Deltagram magazine for making beach shoes, thought about making them for fun.

Shouldn’t you have made them from Beech?

I have a pair of Dutch Sabots and I modified to fit my feet provided I also wear very thick socks. They are on the clunky side but they are comfortable after the modification – couldn’t wear them before modification. The soles of those dutch clogs are somewhat curved like a rocking chair to make it easier for walking, so without the curve, how do your flipflops work? They look beautifully made, J.
