I built a couple desks for my two boys, but they were simple desks without drawers. This project fixes that problem (all desks need drawers IMHO). The construction of this project is detailed here. One of the benefits of this design is that the entire drawer unit can be pulled out from under the desk for additional work area.
Today, I installed them in each room and I have to say that I like the look. Now if I can get them to clean off their desks and clean up their rooms!
This took a lot of time to complete, a lot more than I thought it would. But a fun and rewarding project, none-the-less.
