I remember a similar sign from the 60’s that read “If you don’t like cops, next time you’re in trouble call a hippy!”. It was carried by a uniformed cop at a pot rally in (I believe) LA. Needless to say, he was not part of the rally.
At the time I was in training for the Metropolitan Toronto Police Force, so I understood where he was coming from.
