This small table has 2 live edges with a beautifully colored top. The top measures 23” square and is 23” tall. The legs are 3×3 turned with a 3.5”x1.75” apron. Finish is Watco and Deft laquer.

Love the streaks in the top. That’s what it’s all about, showing what mother nature made. Do you use M&T joints between apron & legs?

Very nice indeed, I like the blueness of the beetle killed pine. Too bad it is very rare and it is hard to come by since it doesnt grow in the west anymore. But it does look nice…
Okay Do you think they bought it? Hate to see everyone start using the beetle killed pine.

You are elevating pine to a whole new level with your beautiful beetle kill projects. This is an especially nice one due to the strong figure/color. Your woodworking/finishing skills are enviable.

Nice table! Where do you get your wood? I live in SD – which I believe has some of this wood out west in the Black Hills. I’ve never seen anywhere to buy it though.

Nice Table! One of these days I’m going to try some of that beetle kill pine. It’s just too pretty not to use it. Your table is inspiring, and a pleasure to look at. Tastefully done RockyBlue – it really shows off the beauty of the wood. Sort of makes you feel like you’re part of nature just to look at it.
