A cedar tree blew over in a recent storm, and I was able to get some pretty nice bowls out of it so far. The first two pictures are a natural edge bowl, The next three pictures are of a bowl with a huge air space.
The last bowl, other than being in desperate need of a stand, was a fun experiment in form.

Spectacular color contrast in that cedar ! Is the first bowl turned or carved. Very nice either way !
