I’ve recently taken up woodworking as a hobby. That being said, I have VERY LITTLE experience making anything of substance. I made 2 bookshelves a couple of years back—- that constitutes the entirety of my career in woodworking so far :)

Anyway, I’ve read through a lot of posts about pallet recycling and the things people make with them. So I decided to try my hand at it. This is a simple shoe rack that was actually quite easy to make…mainly because this is just raw construction and no finishing – I was too pooped after manually prying out those boards from the pallets to do anything more on it :D

It’s very simple in design and construction, but I’m proud of having made something with my hands. I can see why people take an interest in woodworking. I plan to build up my skills and hopefully post more (finished lol) things up here!

Hey there! Good looking shoe rack and great use of pallet wood. I’m new to woodworking too and love using pallet wood for learning the craft! Thanks for sharing!
