This was requested for a retirement, I couldn’t find a design to buy this badge, so I had to create it from a picture. I learned that I know very little about the process and what the machine produced took several more hours of sanding and chiseling to finish it. Still it was much better than I could have created without a CNC.

looks great man- if you aren’t a member of the carvewright forum, I highly recommend it. Also, if you ever have any questions about pattern building/need a hand, just let me know.
nonetheless, that looks great!

Looks good, but watch your depth of cut. On my CW. I don’t cut deeper then 1/8th in (.125). You can view some of my cuts on L J. Just search for GaryW (Edgefield SC) under Projects.
