Very nice projects! I really like the lantern holder adjustments for height. Keep up the good work!

all unique.
how thick is the leather? How much weight will it hold or is it just for looking at?

Thanks to all for your encouraging posts. The leather seat is only pigskin and is not meant to be sat on. That was my first experience with leather, but I will be using more of it in the future. I think it adds to the “rustic” experience.

a heavier leather should work, now that you’ve done your sample.
I’ve seen a few 3-legged stools done with a leather seat (and they are meant for sitting on).

I only have doeskin so the leather seat idea is out for me. But always looking for new ideas.
Thanks for sharing.
(although… the doeskin on the back of the chair should still work if attached firmly… I think, anyway)
