Not the greatest pic but here they are. The wife wanted some big, girthy bookcases and a simple mantle to surround the pellet stove. These are made entirely of pine with a dark walnut stain and 3 coats of min-wax poly. The top molding is a simple chair rail molding. There are quite a few mistakes but the average person doesn’t notice. I do though!! Many compliments from guest though!
There used to be a tv where the clock is and all the wires were run through the mantle into the left facing bookshelf through a hole as seen on the second shelf. Nice concealment!
Now that I know my mistakes I will be making another set in the near future and putting these in the workshop for storage! Probably add doors at that point.
