This is absolutely gorgeous. Carving is a wonderful skill with which to be gifted. You did well here.

Very good for a first carving. If you want to get a better look at it, dab on some denatured alcohol.
Then the thing will show if you need anymore carving done to it. Then give it an oil or satin poly finish.
I’ve found that most carvings don’t really show up nice without a finish.
