Started this from some 35 year old Select 10/4 red Birch I have had for years. I acquired it from a Craigslist ad when I went to buy a drafting table. I scored the lumber for less than what a few sheets of particle board would have cost me. I bought over 300 feet at 10/4” thick with some of the boards over 13” wide! This is a hardtail strat style, all rear loaded (no Pickguard) The neck is going to be quartered beech with quarter figured maple laminated with a ziricote fretboard.
