Hi, my name is Otis and I am a Boxaholic.
It started innocent enough about a year ago, build a small box, use box joints for different looks. So that went ok, now do some inlay, now some veneer , so on and so on.
Then in January I bought chip carving knives and some basswood. It seemed that every box that I was working on gave me ideas for the next, different woods, shapes and chipping patterns. Now I can’t stop…so I warn you do not start because you can’t stop. Oh sure you might say won’t happen to me…Ha

Nice job. Wood is the addiction. The box is your format. You’re doing really good work. Hope you sell them or have lots of friends and family.

Fabulous boxes. Congratulations.

Some really interesting boxes here and very considerately posted as well. I particularly like the two in pic’s 4 and 6 (right middle and bottom).

Like me you seem to have a problem, boxaholism.

Yup its an ugly affliction. And it all starts so innocently. I fear I too may be one.

Beautifull pieces! Love your designs.
