Thinking about winter and xmas sure is nice when it is over 100 degrees. Here are two more santa’s that I have carved. One I just finished painting and the other is ready to be painted. I am still learning but it is fun to see where I am from where I started with the process. Wood is basswood and paints are arcrylics. Thanks for looking.

Excellent carvings Mike. I agree that you have made amazing progress with your carving since you started posting this kind of work. It seems that you have a real flair for this kind of work.
