Another example of something made from nothing. The bowl is predominately made of Mahogany with Sycamore and American Black Walnut being the other timbers used in the lamination’s. The bowl stands about 6”(152mm) and is about the same diameter. My criticism of this project is that I thought after I had finish it that the base was to heavy. Look closely at the top and you will see its made from 6 pieces.

I think you are right on the base being too heavy. Still, a nice little bowl made from nothing. Not a bad deal at all !
