Made from small oddments that I had thrown in my bit bag until something came along to use them on. the base is Ash, base top is Pink Ivory, stem Is Oak, base to the top is Snakeskin, the top is pitch pine and the candle is Mahogany with a small piece of white cord for a wick. Stands a little over 12” (305mm) high and took about 2 hrs to make. Finish is a friction polish done on the lathe.
Illustrates how something can be made from nothing.

Nice use of offcuts Bill and very nice offcuts they are too.
